Amal is a DJ, curator, and event producer based out of Oakland, California. With music at the center of her work and creations, Amal's multifaceted sound, inspired by her Egyptian roots and the diversity of her home in the Bay Area, holds no genre boundary. From R&B to future beats, soul to global, house to hip-hop, and everything in between, Amal's work holds a common thread of building feeling, connection, and community.

Amal's distinct and diverse musical repertoire has brought her into spaces alongside artists like Ashanti, Kaytranada, Jenevieve, BADBADNOTGOOD, Odeal, Kesha, Teedra Moses, Cam'ron, Nina Sky, and Jon B. She's also graced stages at prominent music events such as No Nazar, Les Play House, Motown on Mondays, R&B and Ribs, Hiero Day, Soulovely, and Love Supreme.

Amal is also the mind behind Butter, the everything and anything dance party. Additionally, she is an active member of the artist collective, Morevibes.
